HONG KONG INTERNATIONAL DANCE CHAMPIONSHIPS 2018

INTRODUCTION
3 of the dances from WUXU Dance Troupe had participated in National Chinese Cultural Dance Open Competition by the dance entitled 'Friend'. We are one of the six team with gold award in solo/duet/trio category and invited by Quan Wu Dance Association as representative from Malaysia to present this dance in the coming Bauhina Cup International Dance Championships.
OBJECTIVE
1. To competes our skill of dance and technique of performace on international platfrom.
2. To promote elements of chinese culture in Malaysia through performing art.
3. To increase recognition of Malaysia Chinese Dance in the field of performing arts on international level.
4. To increase the prestige of Malaysia Chinese Dance on international competition platform.

BAUHINIA CUP INTERNATIONAL DANCE CHAMPIONSHIPS
The Bauhinia Cup International Dance Championships is a dance competiton set up by the Hong Kong Dance Federation (''HKDF'') for the continuation of the ''Bauhinia Cup Dance Championship'' vision which is to enable Hong Kong and international dance artists to produce excellent works in face of the challenge of culture preservation in traditional dance and ever demanding creative presentation. It welcomes outstanding students, groups and companies from local, mainland China and overseas to enroll and share the stage and experiences with other professionals and experts. This is an invaluable exchange that would broaden the dancer's horizons through viewing and anticipation of the competition.

舞續舞集的三位舞蹈員曾參與第八屆全國舞蹈公開賽（單雙三人舞）， 舞蹈名稱為《朋友》，並在此比賽榮獲了金獎。在這來臨的八月， 我們受邀為馬來西亞代表赴中國香港參加兩年一屆的《紫荆杯舞蹈大赛2018》。
活动宗旨：
為了推廣馬來西亞華族舞蹈到國際的平台。

《紫荆杯国际舞蹈大赛》是香港舞蹈总会(下称〝舞总”)为延续《紫荆杯舞蹈大赛》而建立的一个舞蹈发表平台，让香港及国际舞者共同面对现今时代文化或承传传统文化创作出更多优秀的作品。此舞蹈大赛欢迎本地、国内及海外地区具水平的优秀舞者/舞团报名参加。借着赛事的举办，各地舞蹈专才将汇聚香港，并展示香港与国际舞者的创新作品，透过观赏扩阔视野，通过学习交流心得。
